Event Description
Introduction and exploration of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to identify, access, and resolve unconscious conflicts underlying clinical symptomatology. How and why Medical Hypnoanalysis works: historical antecedents, theory of pathology formation and system specific hierarchy of survival. Diagnostic section focuses on initial consultation, word association exercise, dream analysis of this brief, psychodynamic, directed form of psychotherapy. Objectives: present basic concepts and diagnostic methods to diagnose, analyze, and successfully treat most Axis 1 disorders; instruct, examine and provide active learning experience in application of comprehensive case history, word association test, dream analysis through case studies and group discussion; to define and explain the spiritual, physical, emotional, and behavioral aspects of psychic conflict as expressed in psychological symptoms.
