Event Description

Caregivers come in many forms, from family members to professionals who provide daily, sometimes lifesaving care, day in and day out for years on end. Whether it is your profession or your family duty, it can be easy to burn out and begin making mistakes, building resentments and ultimately finding yourself ‘melting down’. This program is designed to teach mental health professionals how to help caregivers place healthy boundaries, establish a work/life balance, establish ways of processing guilt/counter-transference and identify early warning signs of burnout as well as establish ways of managing these warning signs in healthy ways.
