FREE TRAINING – LIMITED SEATS AVAILABLE The Ohio Psychosocial Supports Academy (OPSA) is an opportunity for you to obtain clinical expertise in evidence-based practices as part of treatment for opioid-use disorder (OUD). Through a blend of customized virtual and in-person trainings, you will learn pragmatic skills related to the implementation of cognitive behavioral therapy, contingency management, relapse prevention and motivational interviewing, in addition to other skills vital to the delivery of effective services. If you are a licensed, practicing professional in Counseling, Social work or Psychology in the state of Ohio, this is an amazing opportunity that you do not want to miss! The Academy has 3 Steps: Virtual Courses Online training modules focused on a variety of topics intended to provide knowledge-based learning as part of your path to competency and clinical expertise in evidence-based practices. Live Training Trainers from the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation with real-world experience will lead you in active intervention practices based on case studies of people with OUD and common co-occurring issues related to trauma, psychosocial stressors, psychiatric illness and medical comorbidities. Follow-up Support Mentorship support call to celebrate successes, discuss challenges, review tools to benchmark progress and receive feedback.
