Event Description
Major academic institutions and foundations are pursuing and funding government approved clinical research in the use of psilocybin, MDMA, cannabis and LSD to treat psychological disorders. Currently there is renewed interest in the use of non-ordinary states and the drugs that induce them in psychotherapy. In this program, mental health professionals can learn what roles are emerging for non-medical mental health providers, what training programs are starting to emerge, and the unique role of the non-medical mental health provider in this rising field. Registration is online. Please visit https://www.csuohio.edu/cehs/casal/counseling-and-mental-health-continuing-education for additional information about our programs, locations, and presenters.
